Mixing & Summing & Creative Equipment
I regularly mix & produce music in my studio, so I have additional equipment around that can be used in a "separations - stems" mastering situation, which is fairly common here. A decision maker should be involved in the process. Personal attendance for approval of critical mastering decisions that can drastically improve the quality of a final master is very welcome. On the other side, real time communication & file exchange over Skype / iChat is very common.
Mixing equipment includes: a Class A summing mixer, punchy AD/DA convertors, various vintage effects and processors, compressors and equalizers. I also have a collection of synthesizers and various analog effects available for special projects.
